Late-Night Food Delivery In Delhi: The lifestyle and food habits of young people in the capital are changing rapidly. Earlier, restaurants used to close by 11 p.m., and people generally finished their meals between 11 and 12 at night. However, in recent years, the trend of ordering food online has grown significantly.
Youngsters between (Late-Night Food Delivery) the ages of 18 and 35 are now ordering food, sweets, pizza, snacks, and even drinks online between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Late-night entertainment, watching movies, and spending time with friends have completely transformed eating habits.
Restaurant owners and delivery workers say that the (Late-Night Food Delivery) demand for Bihari and Pahadi cuisine has increased. Popular dishes include Bihar’s Litti-Chokha and Chura, Pahadi food like Jholi Gahat Dal, and Goan delicacies such as Vindaloo Xacuti. Noodles and other snacks are also in high demand. Around 65% of young people regularly order food online late at night, at least two to three times a week.
To meet this growing demand, many restaurants now remain open until late at night, with operations continuing until 1 or 2 a.m. This trend not only reflects changing food habits but also creates new opportunities for the online food delivery industry.
